At Aloha ‘Oe Pet Crematory, our love for your cherished companions doesn't end with a heartfelt aloha. As a trusted and beloved pet crematory on O'ahu, we understand the devastation of losing a pet, and we're committed to helping you memorialize these special members of your ohana with our pet cremation services.
But we go beyond just cremation. Part of our commitment to you includes our pet cremation home pick-up and delivery services. We take the burden off your shoulders by picking up your beloved pet from the comfort of your home, allowing you to focus on the grieving process, then bringing your pet's remains back home following cremation.
Pet Cremation Pick-Up
At Aloha ‘Oe Pet Crematory, it’s our mission to support you in this difficult time, which is why we charge a modest fee of $50 for pet cremation home pick-up in West Oahu, Central Oahu, and Honolulu. This includes bringing your pet back home.
For those living on North Shore, Windward Oahu, and East Honolulu, the charge is $75, for the extra travel. Please note that for pets over 100 pounds and for weekend or holiday pick-up, an additional fee of $25 is required.
We are able to schedule same-day pickup for most pets but if the pet passes in the evening, we will schedule pickup the next morning. We also have more flexibility picking up same day if the pet owner lives in west Oahu, central Oahu, or Honolulu. Pickup will be coordinated with the pet owner but specific appointments are not offered due to pickups across the island and challenges with traffic. We will provide a one-hour estimate of arrival.
Please have your pet ready for curbside pick-up when the driver arrives. We do not enter homes or properties but will assist with transfer to the vehicle. A family member must be available to load the pet. Our facility is not accessible to the public so pet drop off is NOT an option. If the pet is not made available for transport within 5 minutes of arrival by the driver, the driver will reschedule the pick-up.
At Aloha ‘Oe Pet Crematory, we respect and honor your pet's unique place in your family and heart. Therefore, we encourage you to prepare your pet for their cremation in a way that reflects your personal connection and the love you shared. You may choose to wrap your pet snug (like a lumpia) in a favorite blanket, sheet, towel, or tarp. This can provide a comforting familiarity and preserve their dignity throughout the process. While some pet owners place their pets in rubbish bags and boxes, it is not required unless the pet passed the day prior. You can also tuck in a toy or note or flower to be cremated with your pet but please remove collars.
Pet remains are returned within 7 to 10 business days.
