Types of Cremation

Communal Cremation means that your pet is cremated along with other animals in the same chamber. Ashes are spread on agricultural lands to regenerate the soil - an environmentally responsible and sustainable option to honor the lives of our pets.

Private Cremation means that your pet is cremated alongside other pets, but pets are separated to prevent comingling of ashes. Ashes are then removed one pet at a time and processed for placement in urns.

Cost of Cremation

For pets that pass at home, contact Aloha ‘Oe for quick and convenient pick up. Fees for home pick up service are $50 in West Oahu, central Oahu up to Wahiawa, and Honolulu to Kaimuki; $75 for windward Oahu, north shore, and East Honolulu from Hawaii Kai to Kahala. An additional $25 is for weekend pickup as well as any pet over 100 pounds. This fee includes returning your pet's cremated remains back home.

If pet owners choose euthanasia at a vet clinic and prefer to utilize the direct services of Aloha 'Oe Pet Crematory, please contact us to coordinate pickup at your home. We do not pick up at the vet clinic.
