Types of Cremation

Communal Cremation means that your pet is cremated along with other animals in the same chamber. Ashes are spread on agricultural lands to regenerate the soil - an environmentally responsible and sustainable option to honor the lives of our pets.

Private Cremation means that your pet is cremated alongside other pets, but pets are separated to prevent comingling of ashes. Ashes are then removed one pet at a time and processed for placement in urns.

Cost of Cremation

For pets that pass at home, contact Aloha ‘Oe for quick and convenient pick up. Fees for home pick up service are $50 in Honolulu, West Oahu, or Central Oahu; $75 for windward Oahu or north shore. An additional $25 is for any pet over 100 pounds. This fee includes returning your pet's cremated remains back home.

*The fees that we publicize are direct prices to pet owners ONLY because there is no third party involved. If pet owners whose pets pass at a vet clinic prefer to utilize the direct services of Aloha 'Oe Pet Crematory, they would need to take their pets home with them. This may be a difficult task for some owners especially as the family grieves over a loss of a pet. The decision may be a financial one despite the inconvenience, so we will do our best to help ease that transition.

11 to 25 pounds: $150
26 to 50 pounds: $175
51 to 100 pounds: $200
101 to 200 pounds: $250
